The ATSENSE201A-AU Analog Front End IC from Microchip Technology provides industrial-strength performance for professional data acquisition applications. This ruggedized IC features 15V fault-protected inputs, 22-bit effective resolution, and <0.5 C accuracy for direct thermocouple measurements. The integrated AFE solution includes sensor burnout detection, open-circuit alarm, and 4-20mA transmitter drive capability. Predominant applications include refinery process controls, geothermal monitoring systems, and heavy machinery condition monitoring.
